Terms & Conditions

Town and Country Dry Cleaners provides dry cleaning and laundry services to in-store and delivery customers (“the Customer”). Town and Country Dry Cleaners processes the Customer’s account in accordance with the Customer’s Customer Profile. The following Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the Customer Profile and will be adhered to by Town and Country Dry Cleaners. Town and Country Dry Cleaners reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Customer Profile

The information contained on the Customer Profile will only be used by Town and Country Dry Cleaners. Town and Country Dry Cleaners does not sell, or provide to third parties, its customer list or information provided on the Customer Profile. So long as the Customer is an active Town and Country Dry Cleaners’ customer, Town and Country Dry Cleaners requires the Customer to keep the Customer Profile current. The Customer Profile enables Town and Country Dry Cleaners to better serve the Customer by (i) processing the Customer’s garments in accordance with his or her preferences; (ii) contacting the Customer about garment problems; (iii) mailing special Town and Country Dry Cleaners promotional materials; (iv) accepting the Customer’s personal checks without check verification; and (v) processing credit cards of the Customer

In-Store Service

Town and Country Dry Cleaners provides dry cleaning and laundry services on a normal two-day turn around. Same-day service is available upon request. To receive same-day service, dry cleaning and laundry orders must be received by 9:00 am and will be ready for pick-up after 6:00 pm.

Delivery Service

Delivery customers receive pick-up and delivery of dry cleaning and laundry twice weekly at no extra charge. The service days are as set forth on the Customer’s Customer Profile and represent days on which Town and Country Dry Cleaners services the zip code in which the Customer resides. The Customer’s dry cleaning and laundry will be picked up and delivered in accordance with the instructions on the Customer’s Customer Profile. No pick-up and delivery service will be provided on holidays on which Town and Country Dry Cleaners is closed.

Drop-Off and Delivery Bags

Town and Country Dry Cleaners dry cleaning and laundry bags and bag tags are provided free of charge to Town and Country Dry Cleaners Express customers and to delivery customers. Such bags and bag tags remain the property of Town and Country Dry Cleaners and will be returned to Town and Country Dry Cleaners if the Customer no longer uses Town and Country Dry Cleaners’ service. Upon request, Town and Country Dry Cleaners will provide “stain” stickers and inventory sheets for the Customer’s optional use with the bags. To the extent inventory sheets are utilized by the Customer, Town and Country Dry Cleaners will promptly notify the Customer of any discrepancy. If the Customer does not use an inventory sheet, the ticket, as marked in by Town and Country Dry Cleaners, will constitute the Customer’s complete order.

24-Hour Drop-Off

Town and Country Dry Cleaners offers its Town and Country Dry Cleaners Express customers 24-hour drop off of dry cleaning and laundry through its┬ádrop box. To access the drop box the Customer should request the code for the drop box. The Customer agrees to use Town and Country Dry Cleaners’ drop box only for the Customer’s dry cleaning and laundry and to place the items dropped off in a Town and Country Dry Cleaners drop-off bag. All deposits made to the drop box are video taped and permanently stored.

Town and Country Dry Cleaners Express

Town and Country Dry Cleaners offers Town and Country Dry Cleaners Express to its customers. Express benefits include quick pick-up of garments, complimentary Town and Country Dry Cleaners Dry Cleaning and Laundry Bags, 24-hour drop box availability and curbside Express Drop-Off. Each Town and Country Dry Cleaners Express customer will have his or her credit maintained on file with Town and Country Dry Cleaners and such card will be automatically charged for the amount of purchase at the time of dry cleaning and laundry pick-up.

Care Label Instructions

To protect the Customer’s garments, Town and Country Dry Cleaners follows the Care Label instructions on each item it processes. To the extent the Customer desires to not have the Care Label instructions followed, a Garment Release is required and the Customer assumes all liability for the garment. If a Care Label is missing or has been removed from a garment, Town and Country Dry Cleaners will process the garment in accordance with guidelines for that type of garment established by the Dry Cleaning & Laundry Institute. Town and Country Dry Cleaners assumes no liability for garments that have missing or removed Care Labels.

Extent of Liability

Town and Country Dry Cleaners assumes no liability for items left with Town and Country Dry Cleaners over 30 days. Any difference in the number of items brought to Town and Country Dry Cleaners versus the number returned to the Customer, or any damage to an item, must be reported to Town and Country Dry Cleaners within 48 hours of pick-up or delivery of the item(s). Should Town and Country Dry Cleaners lose or damage a garment, Town and Country Dry Cleaners reimburses the Customer with a Town and Country Dry Cleaners store credit at the retail value of the lost or damaged garment with a valid receipt of purchase.

Holidays

Town and Country Dry Cleaners is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.
